Revolution beauty: the best inexpensive palettes at the drugstore? #£4 dupes for Anastasia/nars?

If you are looking for inexpensive palettes that just perform really well, then Makeup revolution now known as Revolution beauty is the place to shop. Right now superdrug are having a 3 for 2 offer which means 3 palettes will only be £8! Insane I know- especially when there are a whopping 15 eyeshadows, which includes mattes and shimmers and are super pigmented AND offer a fantastic colour selection!

The reloaded newtrals palette 2 was a must have in my opinion, especially because of the success of the newtrals vs neutrals palette- if you haven’t read it already, I did a review of it here. I really loved the warm tones of the original palette and so had to get this one. I feel like this palette has even more deeper rustic and richer warm tones!

I feel like the matte shades are pigmented, although I did swatch them twice to get the pigment depicted above. On the eyes though, they blend out beautifully and the intensity of the colours can be build up very quickly. However the shimmer shades are just one swipe pigment- very creamy with high shine.

These matte shades are super pigmented and perfect if you have like me always wanted the morphe palettes. Beautiful rich rustic red /orange, brown, and coral shades…

The shimmer shades are buttery and perfect for a lid shade or for creating a halo eye or as a bright inner corner highlight.

Moving on, the reloaded iconic division palette had to be one I purchased- especially because of reading so many reviews that claim this to be better than the much coveted Anastasia subculture palette. Revolution beauty have always known to create products that are just beyond its quality for the price and this palette just proves that…👌

I feel like the colour selection in this palette is one that I don’t have in my collection. Dark greens, olive, yellow, light orange….

Amazing shades of greens, and mustard shades that I wouldn’t have even thought would compliment each other.

The mustard and yellow shades are so wearable in this palette and in combination with the deep brown and super pigmented dark black, which can be used to smoke out any look or to deepen the outer corner of the eyes- you can definitely create such a beautiful look.

Moreover, I must give a shout out to 2 of the shimmer shades in this palette- as they are just unique and super beautiful on the lids. The light shimmer olive green just speaks for itself. It is almost like a pressed glitter and has a very reflective high shine to it- beautiful all over lid or even in the centre of the lid! Next up is the first shadow in the palette which seems like a plain white eyeshadow in the pan, but upon swatching it, it is actually a duo chrome shade which has a gorgeous pink and white reflex. In fact this shade could be a dupe to the popular Nars dual (wet/dry) intensity shadow in Cassiopeia!!OMG!!!!

Honestly for under £3.50 for each palette with the 3 for 2 offer at Superdrug, I just can’t recommend enough that you go grab these palettes! Super beautiful and you just won’t be dissapointed! I just may need to pick up the other 2 in this collection!;)

Until next time, I’m signing out….✌
