Contour & highlight edition; Technic colourfix contour palette #1

I have so many inexpensive contour & highlight palettes to review and just can’t get enough of them!

Technic; This brand is one I haven’t heard much of,and in fact this is the first product I’ve used from this brand. This Technic colourfix pressed powder contour palette caught my eye at my beloved Tkmaxx and at a price point of Β£2.99 (maximum under Β£3.99 online, look around as you can find it cheaper), I just had to see if it was any good; probably the most cheapest pallette you’ll find with a variety of 8 shades to choose from!

These palettes bring dimension and colour back to the face and especially after using a full coverage foundation and creating a super flawless perfected canvas, these palettes are essential in bringing back colour and a natural-real look to the face ( as foundation alone can look very flat).

First and foremost, from first impressions you notice that the palette lacks a proper neutral or cool toned contour shade and the 2 deeper shades are very warm and best used to warm up the face. Also the darker shade located on the bottom far right hand side, makes for a nice warm eye crease colour too…(multi-use product! πŸ˜‰)

I have been using this palette for a few weeks now and I have really enjoyed using the yellow shade swatched above, located on the top row, 2 shades from the left. However I must not forget to state that these powders are very powdery and so there is a lot of fall out if used with a brush. To counteract this, application with a sponge or beauty blender is best. I love the way the yellow highlight powder does actually highlight under the eyes. I think maybe because this palette does state they are pressed powders, I felt that they are quite pigmented and so added a bit of coverage to the face and set & highlighted the highlight areas well.
They blend out nicely on the face too and so for someone on a super budget buy this will give them a chance to see if it works for them.

In all honesty though, I must make it clear that this palette is in no means amazing quality to the extent were I think it ‘outperforms’ for it’s price but without a doubt does the job and for the price point is good! πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘

Let me know if you have tried anything from this brand!

Thanks for reading 🌹

Was anxiously waiting for someone to review a contour palette! Now this sounds perfect to me because you’ve reviewed the yellow powder so well that all I can say is SOLD! Will definetly invest in this.
I have purchased one item from this brand, it was a little corrector and concealer palette. I thought it’s a one off bad production because nothing was showing up at all! Will contact u and show u which one x
