Today’s budget friendly eye look with a pop of colour…quick and easy!

Today’s look is something different to my everyday make up. On a daily basis I usually keep it very neutral (skip eyeshadow) but always have a black winged liner (-as it gives my eyes some shape and definition). However recently I’m enjoying the use of different coloured eye liners on the eyelid…(but I usually enjoy applying colour to my water line, especially blues, greens and purples..)

I think that this look really brings attention to the eyes, makes it look like you made an effort and would be amazing for the warmer months to come here in the UK…..summer appropriate I guess.

This look is budget friendly, so it’s perfect for those of you starting out in makeup, at school or just don’t want to spend too much !

Tutorial- How  I created the look.

Quick, Simple and easy:

I first primed the eyelid with the L.A colors jumbo pencil base in sea shell…this really helps the colours pop,

especially  if you have pigmented eyelids like me…..it applies nicely but make sure you don’ t use too much, a thin layer nicely patted over the lid is sufficient..moreover for £1 you can’t go wrong…(purchased from beauty base UK)

Then I applied the eyeshadow in chocolate from the W7 In the buff palette in the crease and with a smaller brush, placed Elf’s  mineral eyeshadow in golden on the entire lid…(-this eyeshadow is sooo beautiful!)

and to incorporate my pop of colour I used Elf’s waterproof eyeliner in teal  to create a winged line on the eyelid,     which to my surprise applies nicely and quite pigmented, however not sure whether it’s waterproof….

Next I lined my waterline with inglot’s 77  AMC gel eyeliner, curled the lashes, added a few coats of Two faced lash gasm mascara and voila,- this is what was created:)

All products used in this look I been impressed with so far.. As some are recent purchases and so I’ve incorporated all of  the items shown above in this look.

The Inglot eyeliner is amazing and super black, definitely long lasting and hard to remove but however I can’t give you my full thoughts on it as I haven’t used it long enough… (But I can tell you I love Maybelline’s eye studio gel liner (I finished it:0!) and highly recommend as a substitite)

The Two faced lash orgasm mascara I adore- but wasn’t love at first sight, the more I used it, the more I’ve grown to like it! – Have been using it for some time now  and it really lengthens my lashes and keeps them separate and mostly importantly feel’s good on the lashes (-hate it when mascara weighs  your lashes down and you can’t wait to wipe it off!-bet you’ve had that feeling:) The downside is that it doesn’t give too much volume but I’ve been liking the look it’s giving me…if you want separated long lashes this is fab! (another alternative that’s less expensive and gives the same effect if not better is the Loreal telescopic mascara).

And lastly the W7 In the buff palette is a steal for £4.99 ( apparently a dupe for Urban decay’s naked 2 palette!)  and the colour chocolate(from left to right: 5th eye shadow in pic above^) is an amazing transition colour!! It’s a really good pigmented inexpensive palette and I highly recommend…(maybe will do a separate review on it as I have another w7 palette too…)

Look 2: Also just to add I love creating this look without using any eye shadow….

Just apply a skin colour base if your eyelids are pigmented and set it with a cream eye shadow, then do your blue  winged liner! And mascara …simple!: )

So that’s it guys! Hope you liked it:)

Please comment and let me know what colour eye liner you like to incorporate when creating looks, love to hear your recommendations……:)
